Frequently asked questions
Do we need technical skills?
No. If you can write an email, you can publish a news story. The management area has a help page with the most common tasks explained step by step.
Who updates the website?
The club, with as many people as it likes. Each person has their own access, with no passwords: they sign in with a code sent by email.
What if the person who runs the website leaves?
A club administrator invites the new person, who can start straight away. If you like, I can run a training session.
Do results come automatically from the federation?
No: federations do not offer a public, reliable way to get them. But recording a result takes less than a minute.
Is member data secure?
Only the club’s administrators can see it, it never appears on the website, and there are encrypted backups every week.
Who owns the data and the domain?
The club. If the club ever leaves, it gets all its data: news, photos, matches and members.
Is there a minimum term?
No. The service renews each season, and can end at the end of any season.
How long does it take?
Usually one to two weeks, once we have the logo, the teams and the training times.
Can members pay fees online?
No. Membership management shows who has paid and who is behind, but payments are made as they are today.
